Eid Mubarak

Today we made an Eid card for our teacher Mrs. Peterson.

Eid is a Muslim holiday. Today is Eid-al fitr. Muslims throughout the world celebrate this festival. It marks
the end of the fasting period-Ramadan.

Polluted Streams

Polluted Streams

We all know how people have been treating Omaru Stream and its not good. We've learned a lot of things about the streams how it's been treated, how polluted they are, how all of the aquatic animals are dying in the sick streams and that is happening to Omaru Stream. A lot of people just dump their rubbish in the stream and they don't even care about all the aquatic animals that could die just from that little pit of raber. So please be oblivious and keep our streams clean and healthy.   

Types Of Angles

Today we learnt about the different types of angles. We took pictures of ourselves showing the different types of angles and inserted them in a presentation. This is my work.

3-D Shapes

This term we are learning about Geometry. Yesterday we created 3-D shapes using nets. I created a cube. I found it difficult to glue the edges together so I just taped it  together. On my cube I had six faces, twelve edges and ten corners. The colour of my cube was a very light green which is called Harlequin.

My name is Tatyana , and I attend to Glen Innes school. I am nine and a half years old. My favourite food is butter chicken. I have two brothers, one little and one big. My favourite sport is netball. I admire God and Jesus. My favourite subject at school is PMP and my learning goal is to do my homework every day. My pet's name is Kit Kat but I call him Ben. My favourite band is Fifth Harmony and Little Mix. My favourite sport's team is the Warriors.

Blog Commenting

Today we learnt how to make a quality blog comment. We learnt that in a blog comment we must have the following:
Greeting
Make a connection with the writer
Write a positive statement-Say something nice
Add new facts
Ask a question

We also learnt that before we publish our comment we must check capital letters, punctuation, spelling and make sure that your comment makes scents.

Speech Marks

LI : WALT: use the correct structure for a narrative.
SC: using a graphic organiser to ensure that all criteria are met.

Today we learned about using speech marks in the correct place in our narrative writings.
Here in this speech mark quiz I got fifteen out of fifteen. It was a bit hard for me so I had to start over three times to get one hundred percent at once here is my screenshot of my trial.
