Collaborative Problem Solving

Today for our morning session our first task was to do collaborative problem solving in our six groups. I'm in group 5. I worked with my friend Eden she's very intelligent and I enjoy working with her. We    found this task quite easy, because we have learned about this alot of times for math sessions. One of the problems that I struggled the most on was trying to solve decimal problems by using Algorithm. I hope you find my explanations easy to understand! Textile, week 8

Today week 8, we have been still practising on running straight and zigzag lines. I found this task even more harder than last week. I did try my best, so that's what made me enjoy it!

Textile 2019

Today for tech, we practised sewing our straight lines. I have completed doing all straight and zigzag lines. I found completing this task quite easy, but at a very long amount of time! I enjoyed doing this task with my pairs, and I am proud of myself for achieving!

Badge of Honour

Today I have created a slideshow of the book 'Badge of Honour'. The slideshow presents questions and answers from the story, our task was to look through a list of activity/tasks to choose from and write about them. I chose three tasks, they are called 'If this is the answer (you have to write a question to match each answer), Exploring Language (you have to understand what the words above mean and write their definition and use them in a sentence) and To, Two, Too (you have to write three sentences about the story using the three words "To, two, and two". I found this activity easy and I enjoyed doing this task individually!

Mental Math

Today I tried this game called "Mental Math". The purpose of the game is to test your speed and test your knowledge on mathematics. I found this task quite difficult because most of the questions that were played I have never done before. The level that I tried was advanced, which was quite hard. Hit the button

Today I tried out "Hit the button". This game is a brilliant multiplication game to help improve with your times tables. I found this task easy because I knew my times tables well, (after practising). I enjoyed doing this task and I hope you would like to challenge yourself on Hit the button .

Badge of Honour

I believe that I have done very well with the Badge of Honour task. The activity that challenged me the most was looking for the Author's Purpose in my own videos found on youtube. I tried my best to find similar videos, and I managed to get a few informing and persuading clips online. The easiest activity that I have done was probably doing the Learning Contract 2, because I pretty much knew most information in the text (by reading it) which helped me answer a few of my questions. Something to improve on is to properly understand what the Author's Purpose is and when reading a text, to quickly know where or when it is read.

Today I have completed a free rice task, I decided to practise on vocabulary. Free rice is a site that will help you improve your learning.
