Times Tables

Today for math, I completed a times tables task! There are 65 multiplication equations in total. I completed all 65, answered 2 incorrectly, and ran out of time to answer the last 2.

Today for math I have completed, a BEDMAS task. I only made it 8 levels up, and earned $80. I believe that I should improve more on ordering my operations, correctly!

Collaborative Problem Solving

Today for our morning session our first task was to do collaborative problem solving in our six groups. I'm in group 5. I worked with my friend Eden she's very intelligent and I enjoy working with her. We    found this task quite easy, because we have learned about this alot of times for math sessions. One of the problems that I struggled the most on was trying to solve decimal problems by using Algorithm. I hope you find my explanations easy to understand! Hit the button

Today I tried out "Hit the button". This game is a brilliant multiplication game to help improve with your times tables. I found this task easy because I knew my times tables well, (after practising). I enjoyed doing this task and I hope you would like to challenge yourself on Hit the button .

Math Trainer

Today for Maths I have completed this Math Trainer task. It's typically just timing you on any random Time Tables. The aim of the game is to be one of the top ranks of AKL and it tests your speeds of knowing your times tables. I found this task quite hard because I was a bit slow at solving times tables fast. Train Your Brain

Today, I tried to complete this task called "Train Your Brain". In this task, I had to find out how much Niko and Kaia have payed towards the Father's Day Card in order to fully answer the problem. I found this task very hard and partly easy, because firstly I wasn't solving the problem properly and I solved it differently which was wrong. One of the things I think I should work on is concentrating more on work than other things around me, and to improve more on my times tables to help me.

Times Tables Test

Today I tried this game called "Times Tables Test". This game is meant to help you with your times tables, you are timed in this game so it should be quite hard. I managed to answer all questions correctly on each level, 6, 7, 8 and 9. I found the activity pretty much easy and hard, because I knew my times tables but I wasn't as fast at solving them. Prototec results
In my previous results from prototec I scored a number of 39 questions out of 40 questions right  . In my opinion I found this math practice test partly easy because I now understand the meanings of decimals converted into a fraction.. or a fraction converted into a percentage.
I agree that I have Improved much more than my last results, and I'm prepared to move onto stage 8 sooner this year! I really enjoyed learning new skills on stage 7 and also on stage 8 as well!

Collaborative Problem Solving 22/06/18

Today room 6. and I were working on Collaborative Problem Solving (Term2 Wk8). I really enjoyed working with my two other buddies, Mahaleah & Ashley. We used many strategies, and all worked together. We had ups, and downs with the Questions, but we still got through the activity as a team! This activity was really easy because, the only strategies we needed to use were Subtraction, Addition and Multiplication, which only took us around about 10 mins to solve. So, I just can't wait to do this activity again next time and blog it.

Today I've decided to post a blog about how I'm trying to improve with my math in prototec, stage 7.

Today for the morning session we had to do Prototec , as always. I had 95% on stage7 TIMED test with the score of 38 out of 40. What I think I need to do for process is to practise more often on my Timetables/Multiplacations.

For today's prototec results, I have scored 38 out of 40 and 90%. I'm a bit below the standards, but I keep trying. What I think, that will help me with my basic facts is to practise my percentages, and fractions at the same time! Which is shown in the image below. I also need to focus more on the most harder parts of the activity.

Today, room 6 and I had done, a timed prototec test. I tested my self on stage 7, and made it up to 90% of score, with 36 out of 40 which is a bit of improvement, but not enough. What I think to improve a bit more is to try my best in all equations, Thank you!

DLO:Problem Solving

Today room 6 and I, were doing collaborative problem solving. I found this task really easy except for the subtraction, which is why I didn't do it. But I really enjoyed this current task and I hope to do it another time!
