Today for my given reading task, I have completed a activity called 'LITERARY LUMINARY'. This task has three interesting/confusing passages from the book I have chosen. And explains why I chose
each one.
  

Text Connector

Today I have finished a reading task labeled "Text Connector". This task helps to relate to yourself, other books you've read, and the lidget world. I have come up with 2 main ideas each, I believe that relate to TS, TT & TW.

Succinct Summariser

Today I have completed another reading task, for the book "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas". This task is called "Succinct Summariser", the goal is to find keywords in the text, and summarize the first two chapters.

The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas (Word Whiz)

Today for middle block, I completed a reading task. I used the book "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas". I chose the word whiz task. Instructions say, to search for new and interesting vocabulary, define the meaning, and find synonyms! At the end you must write your own sentence with your selected word.

New Vocabulary

Today for reading, I have completed a vocabulary task! We used the writing from our recent activity called "Collaborative Mystery Solving". I found a few interesting words, which I used to define the meaning, search for similar words, and create my own single sentence with. This activity was quite easy...but I found a few words hard to understand:

Badge of Honour

Today I have created a slideshow of the book 'Badge of Honour'. The slideshow presents questions and answers from the story, our task was to look through a list of activity/tasks to choose from and write about them. I chose three tasks, they are called 'If this is the answer (you have to write a question to match each answer), Exploring Language (you have to understand what the words above mean and write their definition and use them in a sentence) and To, Two, Too (you have to write three sentences about the story using the three words "To, two, and two". I found this activity easy and I enjoyed doing this task individually!

Badge of Honour

I believe that I have done very well with the Badge of Honour task. The activity that challenged me the most was looking for the Author's Purpose in my own videos found on youtube. I tried my best to find similar videos, and I managed to get a few informing and persuading clips online. The easiest activity that I have done was probably doing the Learning Contract 2, because I pretty much knew most information in the text (by reading it) which helped me answer a few of my questions. Something to improve on is to properly understand what the Author's Purpose is and when reading a text, to quickly know where or when it is read.

Today room 6 and I were doing a DLO of a story called: The Mystery at the detectives office. I enjoyed learning new skills and new words. It was fun working with a buddy, and we worked it out Perfectly

ReadWorks

Today room 6 and I were answering questions from ReadWorks. I got 

71% as you can see in the screenshot above.  The questions I've got were a bit interesting. I got 5 out of 7, and only 2 wrong. I think I need to read more to Improve.

Twist and Shout

Today room 6 and I, were on ReadWorks, ReadWorks is a site where your teacher or provider sets a reading task for you to read and to answer questions about the artique. I've received 57% as you can see on the top left, I've got a few answer right and a couple wrong. What I can do to Improve is to understand new words.
