1. How well did I do in completing all of the things that I needed to do for this project?
I did all the steps correctly as instructed.
2. The design ideas?
I had approximately 8 choices of design ideas in mind. The following list: A box, Pencil holder, Jewelry tree, Sauce/Seasoning holder, Phone holder, Mirror, Art stand.
3. The final choice?
My final choice of what I wished to create was, a 'phone holder'
4. The working drawing?
The working drawing of my phone holder, included the measurements of the length and width of the phone that will be used for this project. And a full-size drawing of the chosen design, marked out with wood.
5. The marking out?
I used a 360cm piece of wood, to mark out my full-sized working drawing. I also used the same piece of wood to mark out the joints, for wood thickness.
6. The sawing?
I firstly used the saw to cut 100cm of wood, for the stand. Then I used it a couple of times to cut through my joints, while Mr.Grundy had other shortcuts to use.
7. The chiselling?
I used a chisel together with a mallet, to carve out any remaining chips of wood from the inside of my joints.
8. The assembly?
The last and final added bits and pieces to accomplish my project, was the side pieces which were clued in place, to secure the phone from falling to the side. And the last added piece to my project was the bottom stand, to maintain and support the phone to stand firmly.
9. Looking at what you have produced:
10. Does it work?
Yes, and is in good condition!
11. Does it look good?
Yes, it looks creative.
12. Is there anything that you would change, if you were to make the same project again?
No, it's perfectly fine.
13. Is there anything else you wish to say about it?
I found it partly easy and hard to create. But I enjoyed designing and creating this project, as an individual!
